CGD 77-081 and International Post-Cruise Obligations: Correspondence, 1979-1981

This series consists of correspondence produced or received by Thomas R. Stetson during his tenure as Executive Secretary of the University-National Oceanographic Laboratory System. The correspondence was intended to represent a partial history of the organization for William Barbee of the University of Washington, Stetson's successor to the position. According to extant description, "These are duplicates in case Barbee had questions." Stetson also notes in his description that WHOI declined to submit a proposal to anchor UNOLS at Woods Hole.
